The Next Rated category have previous winners Wande Coal, Omawumi, Wizkid, Davido, Sean Tizzle and many others, the Next Rated category is the only session in the Headies Awards that comes with a prize of a brand new Hyundai car attached to it.
The rave of the moment dance-hall singer Patoranking, wins the category ahead of his fellow colleagues in industry such as Skales, Yemi Alade, Rundown and Orezi.
