This is truly heartbreaking news, after battling with ovarian cancer Mayowa Ahmed has finally ed on. The late cancer patient who united Nigeria with the heart of giving and also divided them based on circumstances surrounding her campaign fund is no more.
According to report, she died this afternoon August 21st in an undisclosed hospital in South Africa after battling Ovarian cancer for a while.
Her death was announced by her brother on his official twitter handle: @Asiwaju_Foye .
According to family member, she was flown to South Africa on August 11th for treatment after kind-hearted Nigerians raised over N100million for her treatment.
But its unfortunately, she didn’t make it and share her own story on the alleged scam saga. So sad! May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
