According latest report from NET, says that Wizkid is set to sign same deal as that of Davido with Sony Music Worldwide at their headquarters in New York, USA.
‘Wizkid’s new deal with Sony is a done deal, the News should be out couple of days’. ‘Wizkid is going to be in the same building as Davido at Sony Music’s New York office’ .
This means that Wizkid will Davido in the global stage very soon, it’s a great feeling for Nigeria music in the international market.
Pop star Wizkid gain his international attention with his romance relationship with American pop star Chris Brown, followed by his rap star Drake’s jumping on his ” Ojelegba ” blockbuster hit with British rapper Skepta and later his surprise featuring on Drake’s billboard longest ever chart single ” One Dance ” with Kyla.
Few weeks ago, British born Nigeria pop singer Ayo Jay signed a recording and distribution deal with RCA Records which is home for Justine Bieber, Usher and others, while arguably female singer in African continent and Mavin Records first lady Tiwa Savage signed management deal with Jay Z’s ROC Nation company which is home for Rihanna, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled and others.
