On Thursday, 15th of June ,2017, American rap mogul and music entrepreneur Jay Z becomes first ever rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The Tidal boss and Brooklyn wordsmith Jay Z will the likes of Burt Bacharach, Duke Ellington, Ira Gershwin, John Lennon, Elton John, and Lionel Richie who has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Ever since Jay Z entered into music scene in 1996, he has form a formidable force in the rap game, wining 21 Grammys and 13 solo No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, Jay Z‘s latest feat serves as another accolade.
The Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony will take place June 15 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, USA. According to report, he’s currently working on a new album, according to post published on Billboard.
